1. Who we are

BitpointX is operated by BitpointX Pty Ltd (ABN 32 651 179 618), an Australian company.

Inside the BitpointX platform, each agency decides what information about its clients and staff is stored. We handle that information on the agency's behalf, under our Data Processing Agreement.

For any privacy question, email support@bitpointx.ai.

  • Platform content: tickets, messages, files, knowledge base content and time records that agencies and their clients add.
  • Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Technical: IP address, device and browser details, and logs needed to keep the service secure.

4. AI features

Some features use AI models from Anthropic to answer questions, suggest ticket details and prepare fixes. Customer content is processed only to provide those features for the agency that owns it. We do not use customer content to train AI models, and AI features never see stored credentials. Agencies can turn AI features off.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run BitpointX, under contracts that protect it. They are listed in our service providers.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Overseas disclosure

Our platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services in Sydney. Some providers, such as Anthropic, Brevo, Google and LinkedIn, may handle information overseas. Before disclosing information overseas we take reasonable steps under Australian Privacy Principle 8 to make sure it is protected.

7. How long we keep it

  • Waiting list details: until you unsubscribe, or 24 months after our last contact, whichever comes first.
  • Account and platform data: for the life of the subscription, then deleted unless the agency exports it or the law requires us to keep it.
  • Billing records: as long as tax law requires.

8. Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email support@bitpointx.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

If your information is held inside an agency's workspace, we will pass your request to that agency, as it controls that data.

9. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, passkeys and multi factor sign in, least privilege access, logging and regular reviews. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

10. Children

BitpointX is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's information.

11. Complaints

Please contact us first at support@bitpointx.ai so we can try to fix it. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell customers by email before it takes effect.
